John Ablamsky is the founder and Senior Partner of Ablamsky & Company, CPAs. With a rich history in the industry, John embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in 1997 after holding a distinguished role as a Principle in the Tax Consulting Group at a Big Four accounting firm. Over the past two decades, he has led the firm to great heights, attracting a clientele that includes some of the world's most prestigious individuals and entities, ranging from prominent hedge fund partners and their management companies to renowned former CEOs of public companies.

At the core of John's expertise lies his specialization in high net-worth individuals and their investment partnerships and corporations, private foundations, trusts, and closely held companies. Leveraging over 30 years of experience, he delivers comprehensive tax, accounting, and integrated consulting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. His clients span various industries, including financial services, advertising, architecture, healthcare, legal, not-for-profit, restaurant and hospitality, retail, as well as sports and entertainment.

John possesses broad expertise across all areas of taxation. With equal proficiency in working with small start-ups and ultra-high net worth individuals, he brings a well-informed perspective to every engagement, addressing the unique opportunities and challenges his clients may encounter.

John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accounts. He received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master in Business Administration from St. Johns University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a  Personal Financial Specialist and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Jieren Tan, CPA

Jieren Tan is a Tax Associate with 3 years of experience in Tax Compliance. He specializes in individual and foreign tax compliance. Jieren has extensive experience working with International and financial service clients.

Prior to joining Ablamsky and Company CPA’s, Jieren worked primarily with Chinese clientele, assisting in navigating through cross-country tax issues with his training in Chinese tax law and compliance.
